A native Texan, Joe Vining has been around cars his entire life. Joe moved to Austin for college and has lived in the Austin area ever since. Active in several sports car clubs in the Austin area, he now owns a 1961 black Sebring-style MGA and a 1971 red MGB. He served as director of planning for the City of Round Rock and vice-president of the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce before retiring and beginning his own consulting business. He and his wife, Karla, live in Round Rock. |

Bobby Galvez, Club Vice President Bobby was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He completed college in Washington, D.C. and Virginia, where his first car was a 1967 MGB which he hated leaving behind when it was time to return to Honduras where he worked for about 20 years in architecture and planning. MG's weren't around down there so he owned a BMW 2000 Touring in which he thoroughly enjoyed exceeding the speed limits on the mountain roads. He and wife Cindy made the move to the Austin area in the fall of 1993 where he transitioned into residential real estate. About 10 years ago he missed having an MG, so he found a 1979 MGB and not long after a 1952 TD joined it. The MG's led to meeting the great people of Capital City MG Club, which in time honored him by having him serve for four years as club president. |

The Hardys fled the deep freeze in Calgary and moved to Texas in 2019 with their teal blue 1972 MGB.
